Tuesday, 18 August 2026, the Rotary Club of Maloti , in collaboration with Vodacom Lesotho and PhysioNet, brought more than just medical equipment. They brought hope, dignity, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
Through this donation, wheelchairs, crutches, and other mobility aids were handed over to persons living with disabilities.
As the Honorable Member of Stadium Area , Hon. Mampho Tjabane requested the support on behalf of her people. Going beyond the donation, she also added adult diapers and socks to address other urgent daily needs identified during home visits.
“Every piece of equipment represents an opportunity for someone to heal, move, live with greater independence, and regain confidence,” Hon. Tjabane said. “Because impact starts somewhere. And on Tuesday, it started with us choosing to serve.”
Residents expressed deep gratitude to Rotary, Vodacom Lesotho, PhysioNet, and Hon. Tjabane for remembering those often overlooked and for reminding them that they are not forgotten.
